A well-established and growing organisation is seeking an ambitious, proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join its finance team. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting multiple entities within a dynamic group structure.
Reporting into the finance team, you will be responsible for day-to-day transactional accounting duties, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and strong financial controls across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier invoice processing, statement reconciliations and query resolution
Preparing weekly payment runs
Intercompany transactions
Daily Bank reconciliation
Credit card expense processing
Maintaining workflows within the AP systems
Identifying fixed assets and support processing through the system
Direct Debit collections
Setting up new clients
Processing client terminations, credits and scheme changes
General support on client invoicing
Affiliate invoicing and credit control for affiliates
Support with the preparation of ESG data for reporting
Prepare the purchase and expense accruals
General analysis of expenditure as required
The Person
Graduate, AAT PQ or has previous experience of working in a similar role
Manages time effectively to provide flexible support as part of a transactional finance team
Demonstrates highly professional written and verbal communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
Experience with Sage Intacct is desirable
Cool, calm, and collected in the face of challenge or pressure and can move from task to task with ease, prioritising as required
Self-motivated and uses own initiative to solve problems
A team player, always ready to get stuck in and help, but equally happy working independently
