An established and respected organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee its finance function in North Wales (Easily accessible from Conwy, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno & Bangor)
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll be responsible for the smooth running of the finance department, ensuring robust financial controls, delivering accurate management information and supporting the wider business with financial planning and reporting.
This is a varied role combining operational finance management with commercial insight and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day finance function
Overseeing accounts, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
Managing and supporting the Finance Assistant function
Producing monthly MI and financial reports
Monitoring cash flow and preparing forecasts
Supporting budgeting and financial planning
Reviewing high-value financial transactions and reconciliations
Managing payroll or external payroll providers
Overseeing month-end and year-end processes
Liaising with external accountants, auditors and banking partners
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and procedures, and internal controls
Supporting senior leadership with financial analysis and business decisions
Identifying opportunities to improve systems, reporting and financial processes
The Person
Significant finance experience, ideally within a regulated professional services environment
Strong understanding of financial controls and compliance
Commercially minded with strong analytical skills
Able to build strong relationships across the business
Excellent attention to detail
Previous experience within a regulated finance environment would be beneficial
Comfortable working to strict procedures and deadlines

Competitive salary – negotiable depending on experience
Office-based Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week)
