Job Description

They are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to support the preparation of management accounts and provide insightful financial analysis to the wider business. This is a broad, hands-on role offering excellent exposure and the chance to contribute to continuous improvement across finance.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly management accounts for individual entities
Month-end journals, accruals and prepayments
Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting
Variance analysis against budget and forecast, with commentary
Budgeting and forecasting support
Maintenance of the fixed asset register
Preparation of management and board reporting packs
Supporting departments with financial insight and cost control
Liaison with external auditors and response to audit queries
Supporting ongoing process improvements within finance
Skills & Experience
Qualified accountant ideally (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Proven experience producing management accounts
Strong Excel skills
Confident communicator with the ability to build strong internal relationships
Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
