Job Description

A growing international organisation is seeking an experienced P2P Team Leader to join its Shared Services Finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a Procure-to-Pay professional who enjoys leading teams, driving process improvements, and working within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of P2P operations, leading a small team while supporting ongoing systems and process transformation projects.

As P2P Team Leader, you'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day Procure-to-Pay activities, ensuring service levels are achieved and processes remain compliant, efficient, and customer-focused.

You'll act as a subject matter expert across P2P processes and systems, working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, IT, and supplier networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop a small P2P team

  • Manage daily P2P operations, ensuring delivery against agreed service levels

  • Oversee purchase requisition and purchase order processes

  • Act as the escalation point for operational queries and issue resolution

  • Monitor team performance and produce regular operational reporting

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls

  • Support finance transformation and system enhancement projects

  • Maintain process documentation, procedures and training materials

  • Deliver training and support to internal users and suppliers

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple business functions

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements and company policies


The Person

We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Strong experience within Procure-to-Pay, Accounts Payable or Shared Services Finance

  • Previous experience leading, supervising or coordinating a finance operations team

  • Excellent understanding of P2P processes, controls and best practice

  • Experience using ERP systems, ideally SAP

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • A proactive approach to process improvement and operational excellence

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience with Ariba or similar e-procurement platforms

  • Exposure to finance transformation or systems implementation projects

  • Shared Service Centre or global business experience
