Job Description
A growing international organisation is seeking an experienced P2P Team Leader to join its Shared Services Finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a Procure-to-Pay professional who enjoys leading teams, driving process improvements, and working within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of P2P operations, leading a small team while supporting ongoing systems and process transformation projects.
As P2P Team Leader, you'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day Procure-to-Pay activities, ensuring service levels are achieved and processes remain compliant, efficient, and customer-focused.
You'll act as a subject matter expert across P2P processes and systems, working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, IT, and supplier networks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and develop a small P2P team
Manage daily P2P operations, ensuring delivery against agreed service levels
Oversee purchase requisition and purchase order processes
Act as the escalation point for operational queries and issue resolution
Monitor team performance and produce regular operational reporting
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls
Support finance transformation and system enhancement projects
Maintain process documentation, procedures and training materials
Deliver training and support to internal users and suppliers
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple business functions
Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements and company policies
The Person
We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
Strong experience within Procure-to-Pay, Accounts Payable or Shared Services Finance
Previous experience leading, supervising or coordinating a finance operations team
Excellent understanding of P2P processes, controls and best practice
Experience using ERP systems, ideally SAP
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A proactive approach to process improvement and operational excellence
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Desirable Experience:
Experience with Ariba or similar e-procurement platforms
Exposure to finance transformation or systems implementation projects
Shared Service Centre or global business experience
